Enjoy the colourful, traditional procession to the Housman Statue to celebrate the 1199 Charter granted by King John to hold a fair and market. Bailiff Robert Spittle will proclaim the charter at 11am, followed by an assize of goods. Local crafters, schools and charities will host market stalls, some wearing traditional costumes. All welcome.
